A Year Ago Today

Lane was due to make her entrance into the world. Today she is due to wake up from her nap at any time.

A year ago today, I looked like this:



Today, I look like this:



A year ago today I lived in Alaska. Today I live in Turkey.

A year ago today I had studied 6 languages in my lifetime. Today I've studied 8.

A year ago today it was cold in Alaska. Today I'm colder in Turkey than I ever was in Alaska.

A year ago today I had no idea just how much I'd love my daughter. Today I want another one.
